We offer workshops, individual appointments, and additional resources that you can check out from the LSC Resource Room.

The Specialists at the LSC have compiled handouts with brief summaries of the content offered in some of the workshops.
Workshops
Study skills workshop sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes and are repeated on different days and times throughout the quarter to accommodate students' schedules. Study skills workshops offer suggestions for a better understanding of general college study strategies like memory principles, time scheduling, reviewing, critical reading and exam preparation. See the Workshop Schedule for days and times when the workshops meet. Come to workshop prepared to review material taught in class, preview material that will be coming up, and practice problems similar to those you will encounter on homework and exams. All workshops are free to registered students.
