What is Retention?
Retention is a collaborative effort of faculty, staff, students, and the administration to facilitate a rewarding college experience for all UC Davis students. The goal of retention is to work together to meet the academic, social and personal needs of students and to assist them in achieving their personal goals.
The Retention Coordinators
The Coordinators are available to the undergraduate student population for general academic and social advising, study skills assistance, and referral services. They also coordinate various retention efforts with the students of the Special Transitional Enrichment Program (STEP) and the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). Their goal is to promote retention and academic success of students.
